Mileage on your new G37?
Mileage on your new G37?
What's up everyone,
I just bought a brand spankin' new blue slate G37 w/ premium and navigation package at about 37k from the dealership. GOOD DEAL RIGHT? There was a sale going on this past weekend in my area.
It's not too big of a concern, but I was just wondering what your guys thoughts were on my G37's mileage when I bought it. It was at 192 and I didn't think of it as such a big deal for the price, but will be going back to Infiniti tomorrow to get some more background information. The car originally came from a Roseville (near Sacramento) dealership which is about 135 miles away from my area and I'm guessing some test driving going on. BUT I'm not sure if it was driven here or a truck took it. I was just wondering what your guys' thoughts were and what your mileage was when you bought it.

I picked mine up yesterday with 3 miles on it, which happens to be the lowest mileage I have ever bought a car with. 192 seems a little high to me for a "new" car and it sounds like they definitely drove it from Roseville, and then maybe the sales manager took it home a few times.
That may be why you got the car at 37k. In all honesty, I would have been happy to save several thousand dollars like that. I paid 42k (and that was with a 3k discount).

120 on the clock
I had 120 miles on mine when I picked mine up last week. Knowing that they got it from another dealer about 100 miles away, and they got it for me in a hurry, it was about what I expected it to have considering the drive down. I went through Zag, and got my fully loaded G37xS with a sticker of $43,9XX for $39,000, and an extra free detail
I had a deal made on a G, come to find out it had 300 miles on it. I refused the deal, and told them to find me a NEW car, not a demo. This is the first new car I ever bought, and having 300 test drive miles on the ODO sort of ruined that for me. They got me a different car that had less than 20 miles on it.

Mine had 40. And closer to 50 after I test-drove it. Was the end of the model year and each dealer around here only has one or two 6MTs on the lot, so a few test drives are to be expected. Over 100 might bother me slightly as well.
Still I'd think those 192 test drive miles likely will have zero impact on your car's health or longevity.

35 miles. It was at another location so it wasn't a problem to me. The sales guy made sure I was ok with the additional miles on the vehicle before requesting it. That was on 4/28 and now I have 2203 miles.
