Which one?

I'm thinking of buying a new car, just wondering what everyone would recommend, 08 G35XS Black fully loaded 20k miles OR 09 G37X Blue Slate with only premium package with 15K miles for the SAME Price....

Is the navi package worth it if I find a more expensive 09 g37 with navi n premium?

I have a 2009 G37 Sedan with the journey package. And it happens to be blue slate. I have loved the color because it is very sexy. Black is also awesome, but the blue slate gives the car a little bit of an extra accent. I love the color. But when I was driving the 2008 G35 (trying to decide which to buy), I noticed that there is little difference between the 08 and 09. Besides the +30hp you are going to see in the 09, there is very little difference. But I suppose it would depend on what you mean by fully loaded. In My opinion the nav package is NOT worth it. I have a phone that does navi just fine. I have the Journey package on mine, and that includes an iPod integration cable, where I can operate my ipod using the actual car, and the blue tooth feature where you can use your phone over the car speaker system.

All in all, The journey package is the way to go if you can find that. The navi is not worth it in my opinion.

So I suppose I told you my opinion by buying an 09, but you cant go wrong with either car.

I agree with night horse...I have an '09 blue slate journey with the premium package...it doesn't have the navigation. I love the color...sometimes it looks dark gray and yesterday from a distance it looked black....the color is awesome!! I don't know what the power is like from the G35, but I can tell you the 328 hp in the '09 with the 7 speed auto is the way to go!!

I have the blue slate with Nav...personally I wouldn't buy another vehicle without nav but that's me. JMO. Keep looking until you find what you want. BTW, how much for each?

Out of those 2 I'd get the G37 but I would look for one with navigation. The rear view camera is great, and whether you think you'll need it or not you learn to really love it. I don't use the navigation a lot but I do use the maps when trying to find the nearest hwy or another way around a traffic jam.

The G is a luxury sport sedan/coupe and I always chuckle when I see someone in a new BMW with a Garmin in their windshield or a bluetooth piece on their ear because they couldn't afford to buy these 2 items.

If I was you I would take my time and look for a G37 with NAV and the Premium pkg. Just my opinion.
