just wanted to throw in my interest. i've been looking for a clean, subtle setup for the sedan (other exhausts are too aggressive for the contour of the body design). sounds PERFECT by the way. definitely in! i have to ask though, what's that second cylindrical unit attached to the muffler?

MAJOR props ARK!

The "2nd cylindrical unit" is a resonator chamber for the muffler.

I like how the tone of the exhaust retains the true tone of the VQ.

its specifically to reduce drone without sacrificing performance. The secondary chambers will fill up during daily driving. However, once the velocity of the gases increase (spirited driving) it will bypass the chamber and act as a straight through exhaust system.

100% agreed. I think there's going to be a full review with pictures and videos coming soon.

Alex, extended the Y-pipe area enough to clear the transfer case on an AWD ? Does ARK want/plan to accomodate fitment for the X sedan?

UPDATE: DUN DDUN DDUUNNNN!!!

Just confirmed w/ Alex that the 2nd prototype is finally here and sitting @ their shop!!
I am going to try to make it in tomorrow for the final fitment & the install tomorrow if I am able to ditch work early. If not, it will have to wait til Monday. Damn.. if I have to wait til Monday, it will be the longest weekend of my life.

Anyway, if the fitment is good, it will stay on the car. However if there are fitment issues, it will have to be shipped back to Korea for the final adjustment. Damn fellas, wish me luck! I am hoping that all goes well and I get to ride home enjoying the sweet sound of my new ARK catback.

Will keep ya guys posted as always.
