Shipping a Car Experiance.
Shipping a Car Experiance.
So i shipped my car out today and i was wondering if anyone has ever shipped their G before. Well after they got the car positioned on the truck they began to lock the wheels in so that they didn't move. When they were locking them in the whole car seemed to lower about an inch so that the car wouldn't move. It was like the car was being pushed down on the shocks. I was wondering if this is bad for the car and the suspension and why did they have to lower the whole frame on the shocks like that?
ya that's exactly what he did he pulled it tight and it was like the car lowered on the shocks. it just seems like it would be bad for the suspension, shocks and the car it self to sit in that position for a week until they deliver it ha.
When I bought my car I was living in Atlanta, but I bought the car from a dealership in Missouri. Same thing, they had the car down tight. Car was perfect when I got it, no problems at all.
Good luck!
Good luck!
Squash the vehicle suspension down to prevent the wheel bearings from wearing. Old race car hauling trick from years ago. Roller bearings will flat spot if there is no pressure on them and the vehicle is bouncing around on a trailer.
