consult message coming up on screen

consult message coming up on screen

hey guys when i go into the comfort option under settings a screen comes up that the consult is connected and needs to be disconnected for this option to be used do anyone know what that means because i went into it again today and now it didnt say anything id realkly appreciate your guys help thanks

You need to take your car into a Nissan or Infiniti dealer for this problem. Nissan's CONSULT system is a diagnostic tool that get's hooked into your ECM via the OBD-II port. Your ECM seems to think it's still connected and your warranty should cover the diagnostic and repair.

I started getting that on my FX50 right after i got my alarm installed. it goes aay and does not affect any functions. I asked my infiniti tech and he said ya the remote / alarm will couse this and it will not harm anything. now yours seems to be affecting functionality of the system so i wouldl definatly go see the dealer.

thanks it doesnt ever so often i tried again today and it allowed me to use my functions but others times the message comes up and kicks me out of the comfort and function screen im gonna call the dealer and take it in thanks again
