Question MPG in NYC

I live in New York City and I have a 09 G37x sedan. According to the car, I average 11.9 mpg. Its really low. I don't drive on the highway much at all. Even our highways are packed and there's a lot of speeding up to cut people and braking too.

I just wondered what people in NYC are getting. Long Island and other areas are not included! lol sorry cuz its only cuz l.i people drive on the highway alot. So 5 borough people only. I'd just like to see what everyone else in NYC are averaging and how much do you drive on the highway?

Thanks in advance!

I'm in queens with 10 G37xS. I'm getting 11-14 in the city, 19-22 highway. I'm at 400 miles though so the car is still breaking in.

Yea its extremely bad mileage. I live in queens too and i drive to college mon- fri which is all local for me. I sometimes take the highway but it doesnt even count, i only go about 1.5 miles on it before my exit comes. The car does extremely bad city. And i have alottt of road rage( who doesn't? its nyc LOL) so i guess that doesn't help the gas mileage much either. lol

rush hour out in LI are just as bad as Queens now.... especially in Massapequa by the dealership.

You'll get about 12-14mpg... i learned just don't accelerate as hard when I go to queens... plus I gotta go slow since I'm low

HaHa i have come to your dealership twice in total. The first time i took Sunrise this was to come get the car and the second time i took the highway that was to service it. both times there was ALOT of traffic. Both times it was around 3 or 4 pm coming from Queens.
I got the car from Randy
