Okay I've been a member here for a while. Finally got my G about 6 weeks ago. The weather and my schedule finally coincided and I finally got her washed and waxed. Thought I would post some pics, although not the best pics.

Since someone always asks, my mod plans include: Eibach Pro springs(coilovers possibly), 15-20mm spacers, spoiler, painted headlights/grill, and exhaust. I'd also like to find a set of black chrome emblems.

EDIT: Let me get some opinions on headlight mods while you're looking. I'm painting the grill black. What would look better? A: Blue slate housing w/black projectors, or, B: Black headlight housing w/blue slate projectors. I'm leaning towards B. Also, an option would be either black or BS housing, and leave the projectors chrome. Opinions?

I'll come out to a few meets in the future and check it out. Sounds like fun. Never really done anything like that before. Hopefully by spring-time I'll have most of my mods done.

When you're looking at an exhaust I have the Stillen cat-back if you need help deciding.

Yeah I'd like to check out your exhaust. I'd definitely like to hear some different ones in person. Right now I'm thinking I'll probably go with the FI CF.

 

Student at UT, but while I'm here in Houston I live in Jersey Village-ish area.

Yeah hearing it in person is definitely the way to test the different exhausts. Check out my Youtube channel (same name - Popcornten). I've got a bunch of videos up there you can hear the exhaust in. If you've got the cash, go for it. I didn't see enough of a difference between FI (not CF) and Stillen to justify the price difference. Plus I think the Stillen looks a lot better (although FI has since introduced tips similar to the Stillen). Sort of a 335i vs. G37 comparison - the FI may be a little more refined, but consider the Stillen cost $300 less, when I got mine, and offered 95% the same experience, it was a no brainer.
