Infiniti rather save the $$ to do an auto show and give it towards all these incentives to the consumer!

Kenny, do you have any info on what the 2 new colors look like? I have seen the bronze looking one, will there be a dark gray (Graphite Shadow?)

"The 24-bit Burr-Brown Digital-to-Analog Converter is deleted."

This is incredibly worrisome to me. This component was the key to making the audio system "audiophile" as Infiniti tries to claim. How can we find out what is replacing it instead? Of course it is of little value to non-audiophiles and their compressed crap-sounding MP3's, etc., but for properly recorded CD's, it makes a big difference. Bose systems are typically mediocre, but as I said, this component helped the one in the G immensely.

I am sure it will be on off-the-shelf Bose DAC that replaces it...but how do we find out?

The other thing that worries me (besides leaving the same fugly 18" sport wheels on the car) is whether the larger brakes can be ordered on an AWD car. I am in Canada and I am not sure if the G37XS model here is different from whatever is in the US (we don't have "Journey" for example), but I don't think even if you order the sport package do you get the better brakes? In other words, sport and AWD = cosmetic only. This sucks big time as I would absolutely want the bigger/better brakes and absolutely need and want AWD. Any intelligence on this from '09 or '10?

nope... just like the G37x Coupe...they even took out the 13" front and rear brakes and used the 12.6"/12.1" combo from the sedan to make it work.

it's about saving weight here and there to compensate for the AWD unit.

the brakes work fine... the 14" akebonos just work better. Look at it this way, you pay $2000 for the G37 Akebono BBK's and install them into your sport package on the G37xS, it's just a few dollars more.

Does Infiniti have a custom order program where you could get them installed at the factory?

Packages revised:

The Technology Package is no longer available on G37S Sport 6MT.
The contents of other packages have been revised. See G Sedan Features and Specifications under the Additional Vehicle Info tab for package details.

Exterior:
Exterior styling updated
Freshened styling gives all G Sedans a new look and creates greater differentiation among models.
All G Sedans receive new front grille and rear fascia styling. In addition, fog lights are now integrated into the front fascia, making it easier for customers to recognize this standard feature.
G37, G37 Journey, and G37x AWD share new front fascia styling and a new 17-inch wheel design.
G37S Sport 6MT and models equipped with the Sport Package have a unique sport front fascia and blackened headlight reflectors.
Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) discontinued

AFS is deleted from the Technology Package and is no longer available.

Rear spoiler availability revised
A factory-installed rear spoiler is no longer available. A smaller “lip type” rear spoiler remains available as an accessory.
Scratch Shield paint discontinued

Cross-Linking Clear Coat paint replaces Scratch Shield paint.
Exterior color choices revised Vibrant Red, Smoky Quartz, and Graphite Shadow are added.

No, you'll have to buy them and have them installed. Your bestbet is probably ordering them from Riverside Infiniti. I called around to a few Canadaian dealers and none of them could touch their pricing. I was thinking of doing this for a while, but I realized that it would be basically a cosmetic upgrade. The stock brakes work fine and if you're seriously thinking about tracking the car you can get "professional" brakes for less.
