got hit... how much do you think to fix?
Well... I was in a bad neighborhood(well not horrible... but still), for a water polo match, in the valley area of Los Angeles and someone hit me in the parking lot of the school we were playing at.
I'm guessing they didn't clear my car when they were backing out and they were the car next to me. There are white scrapes. and not sure if you can see it, but the paint is also chipping/rippling. here are some pictures.

I mean its not horrible, and not dented, but the paint is chipping and it looks horrible since its white paint on my black car....
I'm just really really angry right now...
of course, no note, nothing, they just drove away...

well even tho it doesn't look that bad
it's going to require sanding re-painting and leveling.
If you find like a touch up specialist, you can get it looking like new for less than ~150 and then get a real good polishing detail to even it out.
if you go to a body shop, they'll talk about sanding the entire thing and repainting the whole deal. where it'd probably run anywhere from 600-1000 bucks.
just make sure whoever does it knows how to paint on the new G. the scratchshield paint from what I hear is pretty tricky.

It is most likely best to ask a professional body shop.
It can cost anywhere from 200 dollars from a crappy paint shop up to 1000 for a high end. Average you are looking around 500.
Again, it is best to just ask a professional paint shop.

I have a friend who works for a body shop. I'm gonna go over to him and see what hes gonna charge.
I"m just really angry right now. and at first, i thought it could just be buffed out with a claybar/rubbing compound, but when I saw the rippling/paint cracking, i became livid...

thanks for the replies. I'm probably just gonna have to get it fixed, I'm kinda pissed nobody left a note, but than again, being in a crappy neighborhood, I didn't really expect anyone to leave a note...
and yah, i know the paint is ruined and it can't be buffed out.

hopefully your friend is good a the new touch technologies. Older shops recc sanding and spraying the whole thing (=750 buck job). There are places tho that know how to spot repairs with superb results. I have a place here I send all my touch up needs to they do it for like $125-150 a section and the repair is perfect (unnoticeable by professional appraisers). you just need to even out the orange peel with a good polish.
since it's out of pocket just shop around. you def don't have to repaint the whole thing. just make sure the repair is done using the infiniti recommended paint list. I mean your car is black so it probably won't be a big deal. but it'd suck for that area to look different than the rest of your car... lol
