About to buy G37 have 2 questions help plz :)
Hi guys I use to have a 06 G35 sedan. I loved that car it was great in every way. Crashed it
now I'm in the market to get a 09 G37 I can't deside between the coupe or sedan. I know that the sedan is faster, the coupe sounds better, sedan has more room, coupe more sexy
... ok here is my question I am leaning twards 6mt trany
, I would like to know what made you pick the car u pick coupe/sedan and y? And im sorry if this is off topic but what is a ground control kit? I see people getting them and IDK what they are.
Thanks a lot Mike.

Went with the Coupe because I like the styling and don't need 4 doors. It's a good excuse not to have people in your car. "Sorry no room" I'm planning on going to a two seater soon.
questions are what you really need, got a family to drive around?? kids?? need space??
grounding kit is good for AT's, better grounds the car..less bottle neck effect of electrons....things like that

Well, considering that you posted this in the coupe and sedan sections, I'm sure your answer will be just about split.
Do you have any other cars? Do you have kids? Are you having them soon? Do you need the extra room?
I personally went with the Sedan for many reasons. I do think the coupe looks *marginally* more sporty, but I already have a coupe that's a "weekend warrior".
So, I went with the Sedan because it is indeed a hair faster, it cost less, it's rarer (6mt), it's cheaper to insure, less likely to be the victim of theft or vandalism, has more room, and it is more of a "sleeper" than the coupe. If I didn't have another coupe already, I might have went with the coupe. I'm not really sure though.

Twice I wanted the coupe and twice I got a sedan. (2003 and 2009)
The difference in performance (6mt to 6mt) is negligible. Its not even worth considering. The coupe DEFINATELY looks better IMO. It also feel like more of a sports car becasue of the way you sit. Coupe back seats on the other hand are just ridiculius. I am not even tall and my head touches the glass back there. In the end, I for one, just could not justify paying more for less. A coupe would have been like $100 more a month not to mention insurance.
However apples to apples if the price was about the same (this varies from onth to month) or if money was no object, I would go coupe unless you really need the back seats.
7AT vs. 6MT is a close one. I woudl say most people do not shift well enough to keep up with a 7at. This is confirmed by most magazines etc. On the other hand a stick will always be more fun to drive. THis is simply a matter of where you drive, BQE bumper to bumper or curvy highways at 80mph.

I chose sedan 7at because i the sedan is more practical for me. Since i usually drive around with at least 1 or 2 people in my car. And plus, it is more usefull IMO to have a sedan in the long run depends how long ar eyou going to keep your car for. so yeah.
I love the lines of the Coupe but the sedan is just a sleeper and I need more trunk space
