old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one, just to ask silly questions.

I have sirius in my other cars. I have heard that the xm account I eventually get with this car, will not get multi car discount, since they are still not 1 company when it comes to billing, wtf?

also, why can't I get channel 100 howard stern in my car? I guess I have free 90 days.

The auto-down for all 4 windows is a nice feature (when it's a hot summer day & you want to let out the heat) that some may not know about. Just hold your unlock button on the fob for a few seconds & presto, they'll all roll down

Also just sliding the shifter over to the left WILL put you in Sport DS mode.
A lot of G drivers (myself included) assumed you just slid the shifter over for manual shifting only. The DS mode will hold the shiftpoints longer resulting in a more spirited drive at the expense of MPG.

For those w/ new XM radio 90 day free promo, be sure to ask for the $77/year deal, don't pay the full $145/yr deal they initially offer you.

Tip: goad the guy who spent 10 grand more on a comparable Caddy CTS into drag racing you. Stand on the gas. Watch his face in your rearview mirror.

I just got mine, so I'm browsing around, but for example one I found in the forum:

If you are a bad parallel parker, Save a 'side mirrors pointing down' in one of the seat settings.

When I close the trunk, I grab the handle on the inside of the trunk door,
and pull down, so I don't get fingerprints/whatever all over the paint/chrome.

I use the memory function to getting in and out of the car, backs my seat all the way back and the steering columns up and out of the way. Then the reverse happens when I enters...

They do? I tried to do it just now but it doesn't really do it. Do I have to use more force? I just don't want to break it

Because the complimentary XM subscription does not include several "premium" channels from Sirius. Howard Stern is one of them. Once you get your own subscription, you can upgrade it.

Using the "Enter" button on the steering wheel to acknowledge the "nag" screen for the navi.
