Picked up my G37x today! First Impressions...

As I had previously posted I was very happy with the deal I got on the car. I also purchased the 7YR/100K Extended Warranty for $1604 ($50 deductible) and the 5YR/75K Deluxe-1 Maintenance Plan for $1099.
  • Overall, the car is fantastic. Smooth on the road, nice manners, and fun.
  • The gadgetry will take some time to get used to but seems very intuitive once you start playing with it.
  • The dealer helped me pair my phone's bluetooth - it seems to have very good sound quality.
  • The Studio on Wheels sound system is excellent. I was playing the original Boston CD and the sounds are crisp, clear and rich. The salesman showed me the Driver's Audio Stage setting which is noticeable.
  • The Nav system is great, and the backup cam comes in real handly - more than I thought.
  • The intelligent key changes the way I'm used to getting into and starting my cars - this is a hoot.
  • Programming the Homelink was a breeze.
  • Took me a while to find the Trip Reset button - I kept thinking it was on the right!
Still need to get familiar with the features. Monday I'm off to get ventureshield film put on.

Congrats! IMO the sound quality is better with the sound stage turned on. I always leave it on.

+1.

I had the sound stage off for a week then on -- much better with staging on -- sux for passengers I guess...

I'm not terribly impressed with the sound system, but what i love it it's full functionality with the steering wheel, the mounds of options for connectivity, and awesome ipod control...

It shouldn't make a difference for passengers. "On" just turn on the center channel great for vocals in music and talk.

I really like the Bose system, and I'm not a fan of Bose in general. Except for their table top radios which are great.
