Hate the G37xs...LOVE the G37x

Am I the only one who finds the seats on the sports package incredibly uncomfortable? Don't get me wrong- it's a sweet car, but pain in the a** (literally!). I bought one last week (+ prem/tech/nav) and had to return it within 12 hours! Fortunately they had not registered it yet (so it wasn't consider "used) and I was able to swap it with same car but without sports package. Interested if others have had similar experience with seats.....LOVE my G37x!!

I have the sports package; I didn't notice a difference between the sports and non-sports seats.

The bolsters on the side (which are adjustable) are too far in. Now, granted, I don't have the skinniest derrier......but even with the bolsters adjusted so that they were the furthest out, it still felt like I was sitting on 2 steel beams.

Bummer Dude, you gave up the sport package just because the seat bolsters were too tight. Perhaps if you had known about this 2007 thread, you could have had it all. You could have had the steel braces removed.

Damn I sure know my way around this site.

I agree that the sport package seats are too restrictive. I'm on the shorter and smaller side. Can't imagine people that aren't as small as me being comfortable and I heard some reviewers say the same as you.

I'm 6' 2" 255 and love the sports seat. Do you have a fat ass? They do loosen up and get more comfortable as they break in over a short time.

+1....Love my sport seats. I'm 6'1", 210. No problems here. My low back on the other hand after a 3+ hour drive tends to get sore.

I love the sport seats .. i feel like i'm glued to the seat and have a greater sense of vehicle control -- and no, they aren't uncomfy at all, but I can totally sense a difference b/w my seats and my wife's '08 G35x seats...

yer not crazy, theyARE more firm

I sat in a coupe sport and I felt a huge difference in the seats. But didn’t feel anything abnormal in the G37xs when test driving it.

I like the sport seats myself. That said, the reason Infiniti has two kinds of seats is to please different people. As long as you are happy with one of the seats, then everyones's happy!

Different strokes for different folks...

I've heard if you can't fit in the sport seat, Infiniti will require you to buy two cars.

Yea they were uncomfortable at first but either my 300lbs a$$ morphed to fit or the seats broke in and it's comfortable now. Glad I didn't have to buy two...phew.
