g37x aftermarket???

hi, i'm new to this community. i've been a part of the VDub community for 9 years and now just picked up my 09 G37xS a couple weeks ago. i'm through the break-in period and opening her up a bit now... so, i've been lurking and searching this site and G35Driver since i got my ride but haven't seen part upgrades specific for the x sedan....what parts are compatible with the X sedan? are they eventually gonna come out with stuff or is my extent of performance modding goin to be a pair of K&N's and a set of stickies for the track (auto-x)? Thanks in advance!

the parts for the G37x sedan are most if not all compatible with the G35x sedan. it would help if you listed what part(s) that you are interested in

first, brace up the chassis where i can.... so trying to make sure which chassis and subframe braces will fit. from what i read so far, the front upper strut bar may not fit. rear sway bar most likely fits but not sure of front since its AWD. would like to get a cupkit or coilovers eventually. as for the powerside, full exhaust... headers may not fit... not sure how much room there is for a good flowing exhaust since its AWD. ECU upgrade if its available..

I'm also curious to what aftermarket products will do my '09 g37xS good. The dealership where I got mine said they could add the stillen exhaust 1400 installed and with taxes. What about cold air intakes, ECU, and the likes...

2007-2008 g35 stillen exhaust goes for 1080 (via stillen.com) there is a 2009 g37 stillen for 11xx (also stillen.com). My guess is that the g37 is a bit quiter than the g35 exhaust. Alot of people have complained about drone with the g35 exhaust and go with other options like Fast intentions instead.

BTW: assuming you were offered the g35 stillen exhaust for 1400, that would be like paying 1080 + 320 for installation. That sounds like alot to me

Well I live in a city and state that takes 10.5% tax regardless of online business location. 1080 is exactly what they had for the parts.
