G37 Sedan and Coupe Exhaust?

Do they both have the same engine? coz from videos, the coupe sounds louder... And, if a catback is added, will it have a negative effct on the car in future, or it makes no difference? Thanks

Yeah they both have the same engine, the stock exhaust maybe a little different since they're not the same length

the coupe is louder since the sedan is a sedan and the coupe is a coupe...

and the exhausts are probably different lengths

I have stillen exhaust on mine. I have not heard about any negative effects on the car in the future as a result of changing up the exhaust; after reading countless threads on exhaust that is.

My exhaust makes the coupe sounds so mute.. lol

The exhausts are different. Sedan's mufflers are mounted along the length of the car and the coupe mufflers are longer and transverse mounted.

terrycs - Sorry to get off topic, but I'm wondering what your wheel/brake/drop setup is; the car looks very nice and I'm thinking of a drop in the near future.
