License Plate Holes

My dealerships drilled the holes into the front bumper of my new G37. When I took off the paper plate and rubber plate setting, the screws were drilled directly into the bumper.

I put the screws back in to the bumper and it looks OK, but does anybody have any suggestion? My car is black, so I'm thinking of just painting the screws black and leaving them there. Any better options?

Do you have to have the front plate in your state? If not make them replace the bumper. My mom got a new mercedes and it came up from texas and had the front plate. We dont need it here and so we had the dealer replace it with a new front bumper with no holes.

yea, i would try to get them to do that. I told my dealership not to do anything to my car. You can always say, that you have an alternative way of mounting your plate to and see if that works. Or if you don't have many miles, trade with them for a car that isn't drilled (doubt that will happen). Raise hell! ha ha

They SCREWED mine too. Black on Black. CA has front and back plates. Is it really directly into the bumper? I didn't look the second I got home and removed the front. If so, why didn't Infinity provide some bracket from below/behind?
