Question Surprised by the compliments on the car

I am still surprised by the number of people who say my car (2009 G37xS) is "sooooo nice". I mentioned to my friends that I had purchased one and they were all like "Wow, that's such a nice car!". Keep in mind these are all people who earn good money and could afford a car like this if they wanted too. It's nice that they like the car but I just don't think it's that big of a deal. It's not like I bought a Bentely or something.

Considering I was originally looking at a 2009 Mercedes E63 AMG sedan, I wonder what they reactions would have been if I had bought that. I didn't buy it as I drove my sister's G37S coupe and decided that it was "nice enough" and put the extra money towards a new house.

Hmmmm..
in my opinion, you have just talked trash about your car.
No wonder there's no replies, and if there is some, brace your self for some turbulence!

I sold my CLK55 and it was one of the nicer cars i owned, but the infiniti is totaly different. Not to mention a 4 year newer technology.

Theres something about the G - there's no car exactly like it ya know - and for the price it's set at (similar to 3-series, IS, C-Class, etc.) it is probably one of the more rare cars.

I'm just amazed that after a year, people still don't know what it is.

I love how rare it is compared to the other cars in its class. Although I used to have a G35 and get the same compliments, it seems that the drop in their price is allowing more to be on the road...so got to keep it one step ahead!

It's just because it's relatively new. When the G35 first came out, a lot of people had no idea what the car was. Some people didn't even know "Infiniti" was a car brand hahah.

I have the same reaction with my 07 G35.
According to the nature of Qatar people and type of car they like. I was very impressed about the reaction.

When I go to the reasons.

Good car with good luxury equipments and a good price and I cannot be at back of my car competitors. like 335i and C350 which are the most famous in my region.
Power like 335i without any Force Induction.
Equipments , the best for the price.
Quality, Excellent and handle the high temperatures without any car problems like 40C+ (not Fahrenheit).
Finally the price for a fully equipped, 45k$ against the nearest competitor in my area 335i which is more than 65k$.

It will make a sense for performance seekers the most.

theres something to say about the styling of the g35/37. theres just so many more curves and artistic lines in the car vs especially german cars. i cant help but think how much more beautiful the car is when i compare them all side by side.

it looks very classy but the tech stuff gets people amazed coming from the typical bland german interiors.
