The lid that drops down to cover the cup holders just behind the shifter seldom latches. Sometimes if I repeatedly bang it down it will latch. Is there a easy fix to that?

 

You have to take the console out of the car. Flip it over and you'll see a bunch of screws you need to remove to take the cupholder out. The part that latches is held in place by a screw that comes loose over time, or because people pulled up on the cover instead of pushing. Just put superglue on the threads and tighten the screw.
