Does your G leak water onto the ECU by the passengers right foot?

the car used to have that water issue pretty bad probbaly a year ago but i believe i fixed it. the car did get pretty heavy rain on it while it was sitting with no motor in it during the swap but after installing the new one and hooking everything up. everything was acting normal for 200 miles after the swap until it started frying ecu’s

okay sounds good, i’ve been thinking similar, im going yo put my old alternator back in it and buy another ecu and get it programmed and hope the new one doesn’t get burnt out. all the wiring looks good

I have a g37 sedan manual I recently did a motor swap and I was driving and I shut the car off but battery died so I bump started the car then when I got home I turned it off and started it again and it just goes to the on position but doesn’t crank at all my bcm comes in the mail today I’ll be replacing hopefully that works but I also noticed when I put the car in the on position my fuel pump doesn’t prime so im thinking I might’ve fried my ecu aswell and when I scan the car it says error but I did have codes for the steering lock before but I don’t think that would cause the fuel pump to not prime

whatsup it may be your alternator aswell. hence the dead battery maybe. i was able to fix my g37 it was my alternator. i had a 2017 nissan 370z alternator in my 2008 g37s coupe and it was causing my ecu’s to fry. i put my original alternator in and a new ecu and got it programmed and she’s been back ripping ever since.

yeah i think your ecu is fried. hopefully you saw my other reply but also you may have to buy a new ecu. specifically for a manual if yours is manual!! and i think match year and stuff too but anyway. you will need a new ecu and have to get it programmed by someone local to your vin and stuff

I did put a q70 2017 motor in my 09g37 and I kept the 2017 alternator in there aswell
Do I need a manual sedan ecu I’ve been looking everywhere they’re hard to find and how much did you pay for your ecu plus programming
and also the way the problem came about I went on my first test ride after motor swap and letting ut idle and motor was good then at a light I revel up the motor and it started making a fluttering sound as if I had a big exhaust leak (which I did) but made a bigger noise after I reved it then I turned the car off then started it again but didn’t completely turn over do to the battery so I bump started the car went home and then it hasn’t started since.
