Very high idle need help!

So basically we just swapped the motor on my 08 g37 coupe we used an automatic awd motor and got it fully in now we are having an issue.

when starting the car it starts at 4k rpm’s then just starts revving up until we just shut it off. But we noticed that when you unplug the throttle body’s and start it it’s perfectly fine idles a little high but it idles at like 1100. The throttle body’s are 100% good we took them off of another g that was running. does anyone have suggestions?

So we tried all of these multiple times. But what’s weird is the cel doesn’t blink when there’s does and it doesn’t stop blinking when there’s does we looked at every video on YouTube because some of them are different and we tried every single one I’m starting to think it has something to do with the ecu or something

Maybe a trip to the dealer is in order then, unfortunately. Did you do the last one the easy way with the adapter?

You ALWAYS keep your electronics on a swap. If by any chance you used the AWD harness you shouldnt have. If you used the donor Throttles it's possible they are messed up.
If all of it is from your old car try a throttle relearn by pedal dance and pray for the best. Be advised that 08 had a common issue where the ECM would burn up the throttle circuitry inside which cause folks to upgrade to newer ecms.
