Now someone see if they can find me a oem trunk spoiler for my IPL. Shops talking 4-500 hundred before taxes and fees to repaint mine. Maaco said $300. $250 if I take it off and bring it to them. Would y'all do it?
I would trust them to paint a spoiler that has been removed from the car. Where they fall short is preparation as it doesn't blend well with their pricing model.

Post pics. Sooooo many people I see online have thrashed front fascias, so this could be an option for others.

It's raining but if I post a pic it's going to look like it almost came right off the showroom floor. The guy mentioned that it would be fine painting it on the car since it was a dark color. They quoted me $350 for the hood, one of my doors $280, and one of my side skirts $250. I dropped it off Monday afternoon and had it back Friday afternoon. They were running a 30 percent off all paint special at the time. Maaco of Glen Burnie.

Don't try to remove the spoiler if you don't have to. It's on there tight. You might end up denting the trunk and ripping the paint off the trunk trying to remove it and there's no guarantee it will fit on back as tight. I tried and gave up.

Just to add for others considering removing your spoiler for repainting, or for those buying used trunk spoilers and going to install them- the OEM spoiler also uses a strip of 3M adhesive around the base of the spoiler to help secure it. It will take some time to remove unless your original spoiler tape has succumb to the elements and age. Might be worth taping the trunk around the spoiler and using an exacto blade to separate the adhesive to make life easier when removing. I’d recommend replacing the 3m tape when reinstalling to prevent moisture and debris from getting under the spoiler between the trunk lid. Will probably prevent some bad whistles/unwanted noises from air getting into those spots also.

I’ll try to find a picture of my OEM spoiler before I installed it that shows where the 3M is mounted.

Here's the best video of the spoiler removal. But notice they forget to install the 3M tape from the factory. Trust me. If you need the spoiler repainted just leave it on.
