Tuning 08 G37S Coupe

Was looking to tune my 08 coupe and was wondering if i had to get an updated ecu i.e an 09 and would I have to have it flashed and what would be the best way to go about that ?

My 08 G37S was tuned with Uprev on it's OEM ECU. I didn't change to a different year ECU. I have the ECU for sale in classified section if you're interested.
