Exclamation New Trans needed 2008 G37S 5 AT

Help-Looking for information on replacing 5 AT. Where to go? Searching sites for salvaged 2008 matches. No luck so far. What other years fit for 2008 G37S 5AT? Am I better off making a swap to 6MT? Will the 7AT work? Thoughts on rebuilt vs. low mileage salvage, if can find? Thank you.

Question Update to OP: New Trans needed 2008 G37S...

Infiniti dealer is telling me P1757, therefore need to replace the valve body. Originally said sensor out, as asked more learned that they believe solenoid is bad, not enough fluid getting pushed hence in 3rd gear from start then will get into 4th & 5th gears. I drove it 27 miles to the dealer yesterday, did fine once on hwy. @3700 rpm at 70 mph, so not stuck in 3rd gear as service guy stated initially.

Infiniti dealer telling me need to replace the value body as their solution for $3589.17. I am thinking since have 187,000+ miles on original 5AT may make more sense to get a whole new transmission or ship it to level 10 or other?

I'd like to get more whp in the future with build out nothing crazy maybe max 400-450 whp? Do I go with higher performance transmission, stay with 5AT set up, change the torque converter now with new 5AT. Is this even possible or does it makes sense with 5AT?
Not looking to drag race, hope to do some track days once get suspension and sway bars.

At a decision point...upgrade now or just replace entire transmission with another OEM 5AT or rebuilt one or put in new valve body?

Appreciate your thoughts, comments or direction.

Not sure how helpful this is, but there is the option of repairing your existing valve body. Apparently the P1757 front brake is a known issue for the 5AT's. Found this:

Again, probably not the most helpful, but a option none the less.

Good luck either way you go.
