Need advice on Building a custom Fog Kit for the IPL bumper
My last post is not even on here anymore and I don’t know how to find it anyway. I got a IPL and left the fog area open because it was hard/very expensive to get a delete housing. I’m new to doing things myself but after watching others on YouTube take off the bumper, I took off my original and replaced it with the new IPL, first left the fog area open but didn’t look right so later I took off the bumper again and added a Grille on both sides of the Fog area on the IPL bumper. Looks better but I’m thinking of buying a different delete housing (something close to the size) then using a bonding agent that people use to fix crack bumpers. Maybe I can close the gap with another car delete housing and mold it on with proxy and other item that will dry and harden with the new housing on. Then paint it matte black to match the carbon fiber around the car.
just wanted to ask if anyone tried something like this? Should I not do it and leave it with the new mesh I just installed? I’ll add few pictures. Let me know guys. I’m new to all this but enjoy working on the car myself now. I feel more comfortable and confident doing my own work on things like this now. Here some pictures:

Your best bet is to make templates of it.
Measure the templates and compare with what you see online.
A trip to the JY might yield something decent.
Plenty of folks are looking for something that works there. Good luck
