How can I fit 17x9 fit G37 Sport Coupe?
Is it possible to fit 17x9 +35mm fit a Sport Coupe? I wanted to go with smaller wheels because tires will be cheaper, the back fitment is okay but the front hit's the Sport brakes. Would getting a spacer help, or anything else?
the only way to fit a 17" up front would have to be more of a drag style wheel, other wise pretty much most 17" will not fit. its the down side for have larger brakes (Akebono).
your other option would be to wap out the Akebono for the the sliging calipers on the base/journey models

17s will definitely not fit. Some 18s may not fit, depending on the barrel. Even with 19s and 20s, you still need to make sure that the wheels will clear the big brakes of the Sport model. I recently ran into this problem while buying 18s for my sport coupe. The spoke design of the ESR CS1s i bought necessitated 20mm spacers, even though the barrels (barely) cleared the calipers.
What I love about 19s is that many newer cars carry the size we use. I've been getting great used tires for $30.
its not, its the only example of a 17" wheel up front with Akebono.
I know its not a common, even rare setup for anyone to use.
yes, traditional 17" wheels will not clear. traditional 18' barrels is what's the minimum, and face/spoke profile will dictate caliper clearance. same applies for 19" and 20" wheels for caliper clearance
