Coolerworx install problem shifter support bracket

While installing this short shifter I've come to a problem and came here to see if anybody had an answer. I am installing a coolerworks short shifter made for the g37 and 350z.When removing the 4 bolts from the shifter support bracket, I couldn't get to one of them. As you can see in the photo the bolt is halfway out but this black thing on top is blocking it from fully coming out. Does anybody know what it is or how I can get around it? I have a 2012 G37s manual transmission.

It's a vibration dampener. It needs to be removed in order for you to install the bracket.

You'll probably need to remove the transmission mount in order to remove the dampener and then the bracket can come out.
