Hey everyone. i have a 2009 g37x with a Greddy axleback exhaust that was on the car when i bought it. since i already have that i would be looking to get a set of midpipes. My question is are they relatively universal or would i have to find midpipes that are compatible with the axleback. if so, which midpipes are compatible lol. thank you and please excuse my ignorance on the subject

 

Can't answer on the need for being compatible with your existing axle-back (would assume yes, but a quick email to the manufacturer would be your best bet), Regardless of which mid-pipes you end up purchasing though, you have to make sure they will fit the AWD, the Y-Pipe is different between the AWD and RWD.

 

just take it to an exhaust shop and have them make you a mid pipe. Common sizes include 2.25" (quieter, less drone), 2.5" and even 3" (drone).
