I recently saw a 2013 infiniti G37 coupe for sale with what looked like the interior door panels off of a 2014 Q40, my question is are the parts of a G37 sedan interchangeable with a G37 coupe? Or would they need a bit of modifying for it to fit properly

 

Physically not possible. While some interior pieces may be interchangeable, doors/panels are not one of them.

Are you sure the interior pieces wasn't from a 2014/15 Q60 (pre-revamp)?

Well, I will stand corrected, to a extent- only because the listing does not show a picture of the WHOLE door. The owner obviously had to do some serious modifications in order for it to "fit." Coupe doors are without a doubt bigger than the sedan doors... and while some of the components that mount on the door card (door pull, map pocket/cup holder, handle) may interchange, the actual door card will not fit the metal frame of the door. That window switch is so out of place- kind of pointless to have a 4-dr window switch in a 2-dr car (except for the 'verts) but...

Why not shoot the owner a message and see how they made it happen? Maybe they know something I don't ...

Personally, it is not my taste (I'm more for the Q60). But if it appeals to you.... go for it!

 

Great catch but in my opinion this is an error or a scam.
The car is a journey however it has sport seats (could have been changed)
It's a coupe but we see sedan panels and a four window driver's switch

It's probably the a picture of another of his cars or the web or a scam.
The panel is visually longer and in that picture it looks flawless. Unless he doesnt want to show the picture due to the massive gap but its on FB market place so I go with wrong picture or scam.

Simply ask for another/better picture of the interior.
