2008 Journey Coupe Packages - mysterious black bar under similar vehicle FS
After spending hours of research on an OEM spoiler. Can someone tell me what the AIR SPOILER is? Does it change heights at certain speeds.
96030-JK04A (seems to be for sedans only) May be a moot point since it appears to be for Sedan only however I swear I previously had seen a compatibility for my model through a different Infiniti dealer within the tech options.
Whoever built my car on Infiniti website is a dummy. As they chose the Premium Package + Nav package over the Sport. i really wish I had a manual transmission. ;(
My VIN pulls up Premium Package & I def have Nav package so I wanted to know what this Premium Package was.
2008 Journey for sale. $11K 69k miles. Why does his have black inserts below the headlights and mine clearly does not. I paid $10K cash w/ 82k miles before COVID. Does this signify the ICC as I thought it was built behind the ugly plastic flat pcs under the hideous lower grilles.
Image shown for current 08 Journey Coupe for sale; Car currently for sale (08 Journey Coupe) with optional packages similar to mine. What is the black bar beneath the headlights. My Journey Coupe does not have this. This car for sale seems to be very close to my optional packages. We both have heated seats, nav, although I'd prefer black seats similar to this car (but I do like my grey leather seats w/ OEM black floormats) Mileage at 69k. He also has remote start. Was this a factory option? PS id never buy a car from Colorado due to rust caused from salt on the roads. I don't see ICC under the optionsm

The G never had any active aerodynamic components. As far as I know, that's mostly a halo car kind of thing, although there were exceptions... the Chrysler Crossfire is an affordable example, and the Mitsubishi 3000 GT. I think the old VW Corrado, too. But not the G.
The spoiler, for most street cars, is for appearance only. Yes, I'm sure it provides some aerodynamic benefits and down force, but unless you're driving NASCAR speeds on tracks, the benefits will be negligible. But, depending on the car, they can complete the overall look of the car (my old Honda del Sol notwithatanding). Others more knowledgeable can chime in.
That said, 96030, or the superceded K6030 is the parts classification for the rear decklid spoiler. It is the last 5 digits of the part number that identify car/color/type. If you are in the market for one, good luck. Depending on your color you'll either hit a home run or strike out. I've been searching for almost 2 years trying to find one in my paint color as I am tired of dealing with that damn chrome trim piece. I just don't want to deal with any paint shops either, but...
There are plenty of OEM spoilers on eBay but be warned, a lot of them are mis-identified. Coupe and Convertible spoilers are NOT interchangeable.

Yeah Ive been looking. Anytime a junkyard near me gets one om I get an email
Obsidian Black. .,or KH7 i think
Theres one on eBay but it's like $400 delivered. I don't need to be spending money on that at the moment and would be too scared to drill into my trunk so is have to get a shop to so do it. So you think it's easier to replace a whole trunk lid or just remove and add a spoiler? There's a red trunk with spoiler for a coupe in Houston for like half that price.
