Question First Mod/mods

just got a 2010 G37s coupe and i'm wondering what the first mod I should do is. it already has nice aftermarket rims but i'm pretty sure everything else is stock. I'm in canada so preferably parts from stores up here. Would you do intake before exhaust or vice versa? thanks

Get coilovers or springs, the stock wheel gap is so atrocious on this car. Dunno why they decided to make it look like a 4x4 from the factory.

Full catback exhaust, plenty of options to choose from! I have the Fast Intentions CBE and loving every second of it!

How's the cabin noise? Any droning at a certain speed?

Not bad at all, they have 3 options to choose from depending on how loud you want the exhaust. I have the non-resonated ones which are the loudest because I kept my stock cats.
You can call them and talk to the owners directly and they will help you choose which one fits you best depending on the sound you want and if you are pairing it up with any other modifications such as test pipes, high flow cats, etc. Great company that stands behind their product as they do all of the work in house. Look them up for video and sound clips of their exhausts.

Before mods, I'd run through the car and change all fluids, all the rubber (hoses, gaskets, bushings etc.) so you can start with a rock-solid platform. Then get some really nice tires, exhaust like some have said (I have a 2010 sport as well with Tanabe Medalion mufflers, I like them because they're quiet but still have a distinct aftermarket sound), full suspension because our car is 10 years old at this point and you might as well change struts while you're at it, and stainless brake lines which comes back to the aforementioned rubber replacement. You can get intakes but they don't do all that much IMO. These are great luxury GT cruisers you don't have to go overboard to make them good cars. I say save your money and replace things as they break with upgraded parts.

thank you this is really good advise. I got the car checked over and tested by a mechanic before I bought it so I know the main components are good. He did say the exhaust has a couple ****ty welds so might have to look into that. Replace things thaat break with aftermarket/better parts sounds like a good game plan. cheers
