Pls help

So I bought Bc Br Coilovers for my g37 coupe and I’m having a hard time figuring out what to do with the rear Coilovers dampening cable thing. I insert the cable in the slot and I can feel the clicks but I have no idea how to keep it there, it’s loose. How am I supposed to install these with the cable being hella loose like that. ?

Most take it out and leave it out. Unless you cut a hole in your interior you won't be able to access the damping setting anyway.

so basically people just don’t use the dampening for rear Coilovers? Or do they? But with a different method other than the dampening cables that need drilling.

also I was supposed to do the job today but BC racing doesn’t have the decency to tell you that brake line brackets aren’t included with the $1000 purchase....and that you now have to wait another week for some brackets.

Set damping where you think you'll like. Drive around. If you need to make adjustments remove damper completely.
you have an old style of BC as the new ones come with damper adjustment **** on the bottom.
the other option is to.drill a hole inside the car and thread the cable up through that.. honestly removing the damper isn't a big deal to make an adjustment.. however if your always wanting to change id buy the updated dampers

how many clicks do you recommend for not too much of a stiff ride but also soft?

I always advise to start in the middle and go from there. If these are 16 way adjust two at a time no more than 3. If 32 way adjust 3 at a time no more than 3 if damper is loaded.
