Rear spoiler recommendations
Rear spoiler recommendations
Hello,
it's been quite some time since I have posted any inquiries here. I need some advice. I am looking to swap my chrome rear spoiler out on my 2011 G37 S Coupe for something better. However I am having a hard time deciding what the best option is. I was thinking of the Stillen rear spoiler, but the two concerns with that is it mounts over the existing chrome spoiler and there is no camera cutout. This may be a simple mod but not sure. I am trying to avoid a carbon fiber rear spoiler and something too hefty or large. Any advice/feedback and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Consider painting the chrome trim body color. That's always a clean look, and certainly less intrusive or expensive than buying an add-on.
For best results, remove the trim and give it to a body shop. For a single, loose piece like that, one color, odds are they'll only charge you a minimum cost, paint and top-coat. Somewhere like $100 give or take. (just a guess)

Rochester has a good an cost effective option but if you're set on replacing it then I'd suggest the OEM spoiler. However, if you can't find a used one (junk yard, car-part.com), don't want to pay the OEM price ($600+), or drill into your trunk there are OEM-like options that can be color matched at half the cost. The D2S option comes with 3M tape but the JAE one just says it comes with installation hardware.
