Help! IPL real or not?
Lots of ways. Biggest is wheels and body kit. Suspension part numbers. Seats if after 2011 have IPL on them. Paint colors only came in 3 colors. Engine cover. Lastly dealer can verify with vin. There are many more minute details like stiching door cards etc.
VIN isn't very useful. Easiest way to tell is the wheels and body kit, but those can be bought and put on. If it's a 2012 or newer the seats will have IPL stitching, and the engine cover will have IPL as well, which I wouldn't expect anyone to go through the trouble of doing unless they're really trying to pass off a fake.
I wonder about the white ipls. I’ve seen a couple that have ipl seats though. I don’t know why someone would go to that effort.
I Love the white. Looks super clean.
and 2011 and prior seats have red stitching with no ipl logo.
