Even at about $18k I think that would be a good price for that WV one since 64k miles is not that much for a 8 year old car. Just let him know you're comparing another one at another dealer (maybe do this at both places) to see who will go lower
Thats a good idea. Having them battle it out. The one in WV was owned by one of the dealers so that makes me think it's been in good hands recently. The only thing is I've never bought a car out of state and have fears of getting up there to realize they didn't mention a dent it scratch even though I've already asked them. I feel like you gotta be prepared for something that you were not expecting. Have any of y'all seen the Malbec black in person? Is it a reddish black compared to a solid black?
Yeah, mine's the Garnet Black. I haven't had a great chance to go out and take better pics in the sunlight, but here's one right after washing where you can see the color shine through. If it's not in direct sunlight it is very dark and almost black, but not quite like the Obsidian Black paint.

I love that color man. So what's the difference with the Malbec black?
One is marked at 18,700 in West Virginia and the other is marked at 19,781. What do y'all think I could talk either of them down to. The one that is 19.781 is "marked to price" and doesn't soubdjke much wiggle room. Just wondering what you guys think I could negotiate them down to?
I'm in the market for a G37 coupe and my price was around 15K until I saw an IPL close to my budget. I found a 2012 IPL black with the red interior with 50,000 miles marked at 19.500 but has a line threw it so it can be sold cheaper. Since it is an IPL it has every feature available. Includes are pictures. It had one owner who leased it but on the Carfax it shows that there was minimal damage on the front left of the car and from the picture, you cannot see anything so that's the lease of my worries for how rare it is to find an IPL in my price range. I was wondering what price do you think I should offer when I got shutdown for saying I'll pay 16K cash out the do. Or if there are any good questions I can ask the dealer that will end up being In my favor especially since this car is out of state from me. And help would be much appreciated
16 OTD is unreasonable. I would offer 18k after you look at it in person. Dealers know they aren't that many available on the market. At a given time there is probably less than 20.
You think I could offer 18K out the door. Also if I'm buying a 2011 G37, would I be able to update the Navigation software to 2018? Or is there some cutoff date as to where I can update it to a certain year ?
I know this is an Infiniti forum and I've been gung ho about this IPX but after just looking around I have a few other brands that I did not think we're in my range except I found out I can get a newer Q50 in my budget which has 2 LCD screens and wondered if you would rather have the 2012 IPL or a 2015 Q50 with a premium package . Also Was curious if any of y'all didn't buy an Infiniti if you would be interested in a Acura TLX or an Audi A5,A6 with premium packages. After how hard it will be to go check out the IPLs in person. 8 hours away and them not budging on price when I can get a 3 year newer Q50 what would you do? I like to hear others opinions. Thanks guys

2 complete different driving cars. Cannot even compare to a q50. They are so many on the market. You should drive many more cars and research before buying anything you'll regret.
if you really want to save $, look at the g37 sedan.
The thing is I have driven all the cars in my budget or so I thought. Most of them take a gear head to really feel and know the difference. But for a casual buyer and having an 18 OTD price I've found more vehicles than I originally thought. The one thing that attracts me to Audi is the Turbo and nice display and interior. But I know half of the things that make you decide on buying the car , end up being things you don't even notice in a month after buying the car. I just wonder what the best car for my price range Performance, Technology,Speakers and ability to mod without breaking the bank since G37 is about 330 HP. I'm just asking if y'all had that price range. What other car models would you consider? And I know some of you will say "the choices are endless" but they are really not because all I've done for a week is research used cards with low miles (under 50) with tech packages and more luxury type car
Get whatever makes you happy. As far as INFINITIs go, the sedan version seems to be much cheaper than coupes, I even saw a few 3.0TT Q50s in the really low $20K range, pretty tempting.
I bought my Q60 for a few reasons:
-literally, it's an old school Nissan. That's my thing.
-reliable, more so than my leased 2016 GTI.
-AWD. For the longest time, the only Japanese coupe with AWD was the G37/Q60.
-built like a tank. Literally, weighs nearly 2 tons. I like it.
-built-in tech good enough for me, streams BT audio, that's all I need.
My 2016 GTI is more advanced in most ways than my 2014 Q60. But, I got tired of FWD traction issues, car was in the shop 6 times, last time was new trans at 20K miles.
Acura is a disappointment. I owned a Vigor, a Legend and a few Integras many years ago. Excellent cars for their time. Now they are over-powered FWD, ugly.
I also feel like a coupe just doesn't age, IMO. Sedans look old quick. I could easily be happy driving a 1987 200SX V6 SE or 1990 300ZX TT just the same as my 2014 Q60 AWD. But drive a few year old sedan? meh.... coupes (most brands) seem to defy aging IMO. So, I knew I had to have a G37 coupe. Even though I saw Q50's in my price range ($20K or less before taxes/fees). Now, I will say, a Q60 3.0TT would certainly be appealing, but they are all about $30K+ with AWD, most are nearly $40K used. That's the only car that could take me away from my G37/Q60. Not because the dual screens, but because they are way sexier. Under the skin, they are the same car as the 2009+ G37s except for the engines.
Seems you are growing impatient and desperate to consider any other car you can get your hands on..........

Regarding stereo, my GTI has the Fender system, one of the better VAG audio systems. When I leased my GTI, and when I bought my Q60, both cars needed to have great stereos that I don't desire to "mod". I used to mod all my car stereos until recently. It's more difficult to do on 21st century cars. Both my GTI and Q60 have excellent stereos.

This is certainly true. The fact that I'd have to drive 8 hours when literally have thousands of similar options right near me in Atlanta makes me wonder if it's worth it. Like this Q50, if I dropped a lowering kit and and air Intake plus exhaust. I would be right where I was with the IPL. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used...ting=199986703

I highly doubt you will get that ipl for 18otd with taxes. I say q50 or g37 sedan. Most q50's under 20k will have some miles though.
