You looking at coupes or sedans?

And they all have virtually the same power. The main difference is which brakes they got (depends on year and doors) and the suspension - xS got same as x, and S got different dampers and quicker ratio steering. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

With the x(awd) there is no tire slippage at all in everyday driving, and it is only auto transmission, good or bad, it's how you see it, so there's that...

So this is my 2 cents on this.I had an 08 s coupe.Loved it.I realy liked the staggered look, the big breaks, paddle shifters ect, ect. So now I'm sitting in a 13 xs,and both of these have been coupes. The only thing different is the square tire set up,and trying to drift.
I personally haven't noticed anything different between the 2.
One advantage to the XS is you can drive it in snow better than the S.
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck with your decession.

I would have grabbed an S personally if I didn't live in the Northeast....ive got a xS....I think it depends on where your located or whether you want a winter beater....but theres no doubt I wish I had a S...I've got to add when we got the 33" of snow in March , my xS tore through the snow with no problem and thats with all season tires

Same here. I have an xS and I live in the northeast too. It's great in the snow.

unlike the xS sedan (which is cosmetic only), the xS coupe gets some of the mechanical upgrades found on the S (i.e. big brakes). the xS coupe does not get the VLSD or tighter steering or staggered wheel fitment.

I would have to agree with rich11g37xs...if winter conditions aren't an issue there's no reason for the xs that I can see.Nick, you also mentioned you found an IPL in your budget.IMO I would jump all over the IPL,and get a civic for kicking it in the winter.

I have an 08 G37s, manual was necessary for me so the S was an obvious choice.
I live in Ontario and don't winter drive, got my charger for that.

I wasn't about to spend the money on a g to ruin it in the winter, but to each is their own. Having 2 cars is expensive no matter what way you look at it though.
