That video is one person's half-assed "attempted comedic" review and considering the video has less than 200 official views, of which 180 are negative, should tell you something. After the guy compared the seat to a "third leg in a g***yhole" I quit watching.

It is a car. Some people love it, others dislike it, and each have their own reasons. This true for every make and model.

Besides, as the old saying goes: "Opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one and they all stink."

That video, what little I saw, STUNK.

The G is a older car design. Very easy to "bag" on in 2017. With that said, i wonder if he'll talk **** about the Q60 red sport in 2023?

He doesn't get the car, it's a versatile platform. It's a factory luxury sport GT car, and can be taken into any direction from there. With the aftermarket support it enjoys, you can take it to a mild sport build to a full blown track monster.

What he's doing is that he is mentally in the track monster mode, while still driving it factory stock, which is intended for grand touring and not full sport. I am sure it has a good amount of go from the factory, but he wants more. He's going to have to do some mods for that

I'm a fan of Regular Car Reviews. I'd also say that most of what he said about the G is correct, in stock form the car is just good at everything.
That's actually why I bought it. It doesn't really excel at any one thing,
but it does everything quite well.

I'm not sure what you mean by less than 200 official views? Or you mean under 200000? 193k views is more views than most videos about a G37 get on YouTube.

I stand corrected- I misread the #'s. Still didn't like the review/er. But that's my opinion.

To each their own.

the G37 is a modifier's car, its for the guy who buys it and wants a good base for a solid project build. Whether its to turn into a racing beast, track, drift, drag, etc. A lot of people "slam" these cars as well.

If you want a car that is sporty from the get-go, get a R35 GTR, or a Z i guess.

EDIT: i have been seeing alot more R35 GTR's on the streets now, guess the used models have depreciated enough for more people to buy them.

I mean he pointed out pretty much all my gripes about owning and driving a G37 that I like to deny and keep in the back of my head. I found it pretty humorous by no means was that review serious. All his reviews are like that just thought id share

Watch some of his other videos. All his reviews are like that. By no means did I mean to offend anyone lol

I laughed my *** off. Ok, not really, I was nicely amused in an American Eagle sweater kind of way. One could easily replace "G37" with just about any other car. It's like a horoscope. Pass it to the person behind you and it's a remarkable fit.

Still, there's a lot of truth. Which is why we mod the sh*t out of it.

Thank you. It was light humor and we all felt alot of these issues and stereotypes that we didn't want to admit when we had our car stock. I am sure he is refering to the average joe that has no passion for driving a G or modding it lol. Could literally say the same thing about the 335i although it lacks the luxury/reliability factor. Our cars really are good at EVERYTHING.

i think its HORRIBLE for a "modifier's car".

its a heavy grand touring semi-luxury car and you'll spend $thousands to get a handful of hp.

what it is, though, is a comfortable ride with pretty good factory power, handling, and braking that looks pretty good, IMHO. if i wanted to build a "rac3cAr", i'd definitely be looking elsewhere.

hear what this guy said, he just supercharged his NA G35, he has some suspension work done as well:

"i thought about it financially at first.. i said hmmm lets buy a g37 coupe and start over but realized it wasnt fast, 335i unreliable anything else i want is 40 grand and would be the same performance with less reliability than a vortech g35. and this will break 20 more necks than anything else i would have gotten that could still be daily driven and looked and sounded sick"

I completely agree with him here, better styling, more reliable, repairs and parts aren't as astronomical as they are for European imports either.

It's just like what everyone has been saying, the G cars are pretty much good at everything, it depends on where you want to take the car. Even twin turbo G37 is cheaper, likely more reliable, and similar performance to its more expensive similar performing cars. A used G37 gets you at around 20-25 grand, a twin turbo build usually costs about 10K.

check out Nitish21 on youtube, all sorts of car videos. His G35 is really tastefully modded too.
