You don't experience any knocking/pinging as a result of running 87? Figured the high compression engine would be pretty pissed about having regular thrown at it every time.

I used to average 13-15 MPG with my G. I average 10-12 now in the city with the Q60. Driven well.

Overall I've noticed these cars just like to drink gas if you drive them hard.

You're my hero Telcoman.

I get about 15.5MPG average for the last year or so. To note, I only drive the G on the weekends now and I tend to drive it harder so, something is definitely up with your car. I suggest replacing the fuel filter then inspect, clean or replace your injectors and intake filters.

My '94 Sentra SE-R 2.0 gets about 13 mpg on a road course race track, mid-20s on street in mixed traffic. I no have problem seeing y'alls crappy mileage driving hard on the street with a 3.7L, somewhat portly G.

My filters are about 2 weeks old. I'll clean the injectors today and see if there is any change over the next few days. I'll let you know if there is improvement.

I average about 22mpg mixed driving. My lowest over a tank I think was like 21.2 or something to that effect. How you drive definitely makes a difference...as does AT vs MT. I am a 6MT

Have you checked the air/fuel ratio? Maybe you're running really rich. The only thing I can think of is the injectors or a messed up maf sensor.
