There is someone who installed quad tips on their exhaust with the AutokitsX v2 carbon fiber diffuser (the diffuser needed a little modification)

Vinyl and plastidip are two completely different methods. Vinyl is a sheet of film that is applied using a wrapping technique (the same way you apply a screen protector onto your phone). You can remove it by peeling it off. Plastidip is a form of paint that's sprayed on, but can also be removed by peeling it off in a way similar to vinyl. This is also known as "liquid wrap".

I think the person above got a little confused, it sounds like he used plastidip and not vinyl. Personally I've never heard of "vinyl painting".

Yeah that's where the confusion is, "Saywat" heard spray vinyl like the rest of us, which doesn't make any sense unless the op just made it up or it was a new term or something??

Vinyl wrap in a can from duplicolor. Plastidip leaves a rougher finish where as the vinyl spray is smooth and comes in many colors

I wonder if the term plastidip is trademarked so any other company that makes a similar product must call it something else hence the new term vinyl paint by duplicolor which is essential the same stuff as plastidip
