Thoughts on this spoiler?

So I'm looking to replace that dinky chrome spoiler on my 13's . I went on eBay and stumbled upon this spoiler.

It looks nice and legit; reminds me of the one that I think comes on the earlier years, minus the brake light, and it comes painted in any of the oem colors. And at only $150 it's cheap! Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the oem spoilers like $500?

Will I be making a mistake buying this one or should I go for it? Do you guys know of any other options?

Thanks

This isn't OEM, this is OE type, meaning it's a copy of the OEM spoiler. The paint will likely be a shade or two off, and the fit might leave something to be desired and could take some playing around with to get to look right. If you're OK with that then you should be fine with it.

please use the search function. Lots of threads on this spoiler.

Summary: Do not buy it. Its a knock off that won't fit correctly with poor paint quality. Buy OEM or the aftermarket carbon fiber one (see CF duckbill thread)

If you have a fairly common color, you'll have no problem getting a used, matching wing. If you want to do it right, just buy a used one in any color and have it matched. There's a used wing on eBay right now for $85 obo.. Get it professionally painted and you'll have an exact match for well under $250.

I bought one that was ivory pearl on the last g.. it wasn't oem quality, but it fit nice and looked like oem... it's just essentially a shell that plastic. You ll have to drill 2 holes outside of your chrome piece area.

The paint was really orange peel, but close to factory American vehicle orange peel. The color did not match but it was very close.

It wasn't bad, on the Ivory pearl, I'm not sure about dark colors
