G37 Coupe Hood Lift Strut Recommnedations

My hood struts on my 2011 G37 coupe are going out and they need to be replaced does anyone have some good suggestions on replacements? The dealership is asking quite a bit for them. I found some on Z1motorsports.com here is the link: https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...le-p-8710.html

any advice regarding this would be great! Thanks.

Dang I love Z1 but wow, that's robbery bro, hood/trunk struts are one thing you can buy from the bottom of the barrel, they are practically pointless lol. I got a set for off eBay for like $25 with a lifetime warranty, no need to go OEM or over the top. They have one simple job.

This forum search for threads with "hood strut" in the thread title should prove helpful. There are several that contain the info you're looking for.

No. $290.00, which is reasonable.
