2013 g37s coupe front bumper on a 08

Hello ***** wanted to know if anyone has tried to install a 2013 g37s coupe front bumper on an 08 I wanted the 2013 bumper preferably over an Ipl bumper is it a direct fit and can I install it without adding the fog lights

Before anyone tells you to search the forum bc this is something that has been discussed numerous times, let me drop some cents in your bucket.

as far as "direct fitting" it to an 08 G, it won't be the case. You will have to swap your washer fluid tank for a slim washer tank that comes on the 2013+ coupes. Reason being is that the fog light assembly on that side will be hitting the 08 tank.

There is another solution though without having to buy a slim washer tank. You can remove the washer tank and have no windshield fluid to clean your windshield, or you can leave the tank in, but remove the fog light assemblies (which look dumb in my opinion).

PS if this is discouraging news, it'll be the same if you ditch the 2013 S bumper for the IPL

Just to add additional clarification, you will need the Slim washer tank (or take off the tank all together) whether you install fog lights OR NOT.

I decided to create a custom grill setup for my sport bumper conversion (so no fog lights) and needed the slim washer tank because the bumper wouldn't fit.

I ran the 2013 S bumper with fog lights installed without washer tank...

Yeah a washer delete would work....

There's also someone here that took a heat gun to the stock tank and bent it to fit.

I park it in the garage and only drive it when its nice out, haven't even thought about using the sprayer since last winter when it was my daily. You seriously use the sprayer on the windshield everyday? Does your city have hella pollen and smog or something?

I was going to ask the same thing. I had my car for a year now and used my windshield sprayer maybe only once. I thinking about taking it out as it seems it blocks part of my CAI not sure if removing it would actually help with better air flow
