Anyone buy a preprinted bumper online?

Time to replace my front bumper after 2 years of ownership. the things been destroyed by others on the road. Pics below. Anyway, I'm looking for the cheap way out and noticed there's a few companies online (Ebay) who sell pre painted bumpers online. Anyone ever buy or know of someone who has?

Buying a large body part already painted from the seller online (unless it's OEM) is usually not a good idea due to a couple of reasons.

- The paint quality is poor and/or color doesn't match exactly
- The paint could get damaged during packaging or shipping
- The bumper may not fit exactly and may need to be modified (thus, having to be repainted)

This is why most people buy (aftermarket) body parts unpainted and have their local body shop do the painting. That way you can have them smooth out all the quirks and the color match is spot on. OEM is usually not as bad, especially if it's from a dealer. I bought my front lip brand new & pre-painted from an online Infiniti dealer and it was a perfect fit and color match (as you would expect).

Good points, thanks. Where did you buy your bumper from?

Didn't buy an entire bumper, just a front lip. I got it from orderinfinitiparts.com
