Best way to spend $1700

As the title says I have $1700 to waste on putting new/slightly used mods back on my car. I know for sure I'm getting Stillen Gen 3's again. But what has me scratching my heads is I want to the most powerful N/A G37S (08) without a stroker kit or pistons and rods. Now the $1700 is just my start out money I have some what deeps pockets. What must I buy in just power mods to accomplish this.

I would personally hold off on the intake and get a set of ART pipes and a cat back exhaust. If you have any left over I would do the Motordyne Intake Plenium as well.

Getting rid of the cats is a must though if you are looking for power.

What do you want the power for? Straight line or do you track/canyon runs?

Building NA power is hard, not to mention you don't want to do internal mods. But if you're dead set on more power for straight line with bolt on mods, Nitrous will do the most. Whether or not the block will handle it is another question.

However, if you want more power for tracking purposes, spend the money on full suspension and chassis. Stock power might not be much, but tracking is about maintaining speed, not how quick you can accelerate.

Yea I see those on Amazon all the time but I'm really hesitant about pulling the trigger. I don't see any good reviews on the I intake. And the $1700 is just starter money I'm fully prepared and know I'm going over my start out cash. And I don't really see any real gains from buying an exhaust systems for the G, I will most likely do muffler delete and with art pipes.

Get yourself performance tires and wheels. There's no point of increasing power if you cannot put it to the ground effectively.

I'm old school Juice is cheating never like it had it before but never a true fan
Nah I'm good of full suspension lowering springs and sways for me and the car will be built for both but it will drag race more than seeing track days

ART Pipes definitely, Admin Tuning Cold Air Intake or Gen 3, used catback exhaust. ART Pipes are 575 new, gen 3 about 530 so you'll be 1100 now the rest for a used full cat back and then save for a tune

You can't be serious right. I make over $100,000 and year every for the last 15 years. Not to sound like I'm bragging but I carry no less that $2,000 cash on me on the daily basis. The money I'm about to spent on my G is chump change. Now do me a favor and stick to the subject please. Thanks in advance

Chump change and this is just $1700 I spent/spunt about $1000 today on my mom and sister

Well N/A power on the VQ isn't cheap. I will tell you what you need in no specific order.
Admintuning 3" Intakes (useless without bigger throttle bodies), bigger throttle bodies, a full catback, test pipes, ported manifold, fuel injectors (down the line), a clutch possibly, and an ecutek/uprev tune for e85, if not just 93 because e85 won't yield much power on N/A cars but it's a slight bump. Highest I've seen is 362 whp on all n/a mods.

You can find admintuning on facebook. He makes 3" Intakes for the vq35/vq37 but they won't make any more power than the stillen cold air intakes without bigger throttle bodies, that's when the 3" intakes shine. You also need a good tuner who knows how to tune for a larger maf section. I am not sure you need the shift kit? Someone else can chime in on this as I have a 6mt so I am not sure how they work. I know uprev can tune the transmission to shift faster. If you don't have any e85 near you, don't sweat it. The 93 pump gas will do fine for your setup.

Thanks a bunch I come form owning supras, corvettes and vipers so numbers chasing is my thing. I will be searching the forums for the bigger throttle bodies and see what real impact they have on the 37HR platform
