I need some help with my 08 sport bumper to '11 sport bumper conversion.

I purchased the car from a private owner earlier this year and it has the ICC/ACC module behind the front bumper. I also recently bought the '11 sport bumper to change up the look.
Sorry if these questions have already been answered:

Is the icc/acc module in the same position/area in both the '08 and '11 g37 coupes? If I purchase a lower center panel/grill for the bumper (with the cutout), I was wondering if it would fit right and be in the same spot.

I also never really use cruise control anyway and was wondering if I just do a custom grill in the lower center area - will it affect normal driving?


If I don't run fogs and just do a custom grill for the left and right corner panels, will I still need a slim washer?

If you don't use the fogs, you don't need the slim washer. I believe the sensor is in the same spot so if you get the 2011+ center grille with the cut out it should work.

If some one who has the cruise unit can confirm 100%

Not sure if this is helpful but I have '08 with the IPL front bumper and I have ICC. It mounted up fine and works.
