Not sure I posted this one yet. But yeah, some idiot truck driver swerves to avoid a line of cars waiting to turn left. The BMW drivers overreacts and almost hits me. Very CLOSE call.

Whoa! That was close. Idiot drivers from Westminster/Garden Grove Cali. Yeah, I had my share of that while living there from years back.

Nice place and a great city. However, not the best drivers in the world.

 

Commenting on the first vid. Common courtesy is to move over but the Ford driver just made a lane change without looking. Clear as day given the absent blinker until right before he swerves into OP's lane.

I get what the argument is about flow of traffic but these types of drivers are the number one reason why I argue, and strongly believe, people need to be tested regularly to retain their license. People get way too comfortable and drive careless once they pass that test at 16....

 

Yes, in the 1st vid, he wasn't really merging into traffic. He just blindly decided to cut across 4 lanes without looking.

Merging into a lane is when the lane up ahead goes from 2 to 1.

This idiot had more than enough time to "merge" in his original lane. but isntead he decided to just cut across 4 lanes without looking.

 

Handled it better than I would've. Very laid back generally but stupid driver's bring out the worse in me for some reason. Not sure if it's just the sense entitlement people feel while they're driving but when they throw a hand up or a finger when they do something stupid like it's your fault for being mad or your responsibility to watch out for them so they can drive however they want it turns me into the worse kind of human being. No clue why that's such a trigger for me.

What saved my mirror from getting scraped was me slighting swerving to the right w/o hitting the curb.You can see the car jolt a little from the quick reaction.

 

Was the BMW trying to avoid the red truck? It looks like the truck was coming into the BMW's lane causing him to swerve to avoid colliding.

But that was really close, there's no emergency lane to your right, it's just a wall, not much space to move to avoid another driver. Had he swerved a little bit more it would have been contact for sure.

 

White car blocking lane by doing a last minute lane change. Red truck tries to avoid by swerving. BMW does the same and avoids the red tuck.

I swerved about 4-6 inches to the right.

 

Dang, this is why I don't own a motorcycle, cant trust people.
