as you can tell if you look at my posts, youll see its always about my exhaust.
a back story is a bought the borla s type catback for my car, loved it but a little quite so i went straight piped and hot damn it was loud. but super good down low. so than i put on borla pro xs muffler and it got super quite than i added z1 hfc and the sound came back and it amazing!! but i could tell from the muffler the sound was being held back so i went and bought the beluga axle back and again it sounds like i did a muffler delete. super deep and mean down low but as soon as i go to about 4k sounds like a bad exhaust on a wrx/sti.
so i went and looked at my original exhaust that was the borla type s and it looks like tHERE ISNT ANY RESONATORS?!?!can someone confirm that? i emailed them but have not got anything back. i kept hearing everyone say the topspeed manzo beluga ebay axle backs are good and also that they love the muffler delete. is my whole problem because i have a tiny "muffler" for the beluga? do i need resonators?!? help me! im so close to giving up and selling this car and getting my v8

 

Well I'm confused, I'd try and read that again but I'm not going to. What exhaust are you running NOW and do you have any pictures to tell if there are resonators? Its easy to tell. I have Manzo mufflers and love how they look and sound. Borla type S do NOT have any resonators.

right now i have beluga with z1 hfc and it sounds how my muffler delete did. great down low way to much up high. so my whole problem is the resonators??!?! this whole time?!?!? ive easily spent 2000 dollars on exhaust pieces and getting everything installed just to have the sound i want......
