Has anyone heard of this, or might know what it is?

When I'm in traffic and I accelerated/brake, there is a very feint honk/beep sound which can be heard from inside of the car when I press the gas. This only happens when I kind of "tap" gas for a second then the car will make a beep or honk sound, like I pressed the honk (but not as loud).

 

Is it a mechanical-sounding honk/beep or an electronic honk/beep? If it's mechanical sounding, could be a loose airbox fitting/hose or perhaps debris in the airbox air intake.

 

It sounds electronic, like the actual horn, but might lower sounding..

 

I'm at a loss. Any modifications to the car? Could be a rattle with a high enough frequency that it sounds like a honk but I'm just grasping at straws. Can you capture it on video?

 

This is out there man, weird. Do you have any mods like a grounding kit or subwoofer? I can only think of some kind of cross or ground that might trigger the horn but again, a huge reach.

 

My car makes a very faint noise when I lightly tap the gas pedal.

 

No I don't have any mods, it is very weird it makes a very feint beep sound. My girlfriend who sits in the car could never hear it until I turned my music down all the way. The car is 100% OEM, except for the all my bulbs being changed out to LEDs.
