Squeaking/Noise from Chassis (Suspension?)

When I get stuck in stop-and-go traffic (which is every day) for more than 30 minutes on a hot day, my '08 G will start to have loud squeaking noise coming from chassis.

I suspect it's the bushing but the weird thing is it goes away when I'm out of the traffic and speed picks up. I don't hear it either when I go over a bump normally. It seems to only happen when I drive the car in low speed for over 20-30 minutes.

What could it be? Does it sound the bushing is torn?

The same thing happens on my 08 as well. I'm hoping that when I install my coilovers soon, the sound will go away.

My intakes are stock. The squeaking noise is the strangest thing that happens for me exactly under the conditions that notlkk describes it. It happens when I'm in traffic for longer than 30 minutes when it is hot, then it goes away after parking for a while. I'm the original owner of my 08 G and it just started happening this year. I suspect it is a suspension component. I'm going to install my KWV1 in the coming two months so we'll see if my suspicion is correct.

Notlkk: Are you on a stock suspension?

I have a 2008 Journey (stock everything), and I have the same squeak under the same conditions as described above. If anyone finds a solution, please post.

I have been having a creak/squeak for a couple months that I had been trying to pin down. I was sure it was an endlink or ball joint but I recently figured out that my R2Cs are the cause. The sound was coming from the front driver side and really seemed like suspension. Had a buddy help me out and in my 7AT but it in drive, held the break, and gave it less than 1k of revs- just enough to shake the intakes. There's some metal on metal contact that's making the sound when going over bumps or when they shift during acceleration. It's some hardware somewhere or where the intake meets the bracket near the bay wall. I'm sure a rubber grommet will do the job I've just been lazy since the diagnosis.

I've looked into it but haven't found anyone else complaining of the same issue

I have the same symptoms on a stock suspension 08 G37s. Squeaks on certain hot days while in stop-n-go traffic or going over speed bumps. Thought it might be similar to 03-07 compression rod, but it appears we don't have compression rods on our model. Will check sway bar bushings.

Worn rubber bushings can squeak during deflection.
