Exclamation Idk what's wrong

So I bought a g37 coupe from a auction and it's a 6 speed. Beautiful car I love it but there's a problem when I press on the clutch pedal. It makes a weird noise like clucking I guess, and when I put it into gear it makes the weird noise and it doesn't stall out it just stays into the gear and doesn't move or anything Help please :confu sed2confused2:

Well it's almost guaranteed to be a bad clutch OR slave cylinder. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay at auction for it?

A bad slave cylinder will not prevent the car from moving. It just makes shifting difficult.

Sounds like a turkey or rooster when clucking?

Post up some pictures of the car! $3500 is a steal of a price wow! Year and mileage? I'm hoping for that price it isn't anything more serious than just a clutch issue.

I'm in awe that you only payed 3 grand for that car! Clean title? No salvage or anything?

Salvage or a lot of stories. Why would a dealer send it to auction for a few thousand when it should be worth another $10000 or something.

Probably because the dealer and the insurance company know more about the history of this vehicle than the OP.

Many flood and accident vehicles end up as salvage vehicles and sold at auctions.

If its too good to be true it usually is.

The OP may want to consider having a local Infiniti dealer run the VIN number for a vehicle history report.

I don't envy you, once you get this fixed there's probably going to be more. Wasn't worth fixing for a dealership or insurance.
