Does anyone have any experience or comment on the Magnaflow Catback for the coupe's? Any input as always is much appreciated, thanks brethren!!!

When i think magnaflow i think back to my fathers muscle cars. Honestly i have no experience with them outside of cheap mufflers on some old camaros. They weren't built very well back then. I have the tanabe axle back exhaust on mine and i freaking love it, the sound is so sweet.

 

I have the Magnaflow 16820 setup on my G and love it. Initial startup is a bit loud/raspy but once the car warms up the revs are very nice. Not over the top loud, just right. I might be in the minority here but I can't stand the way the stock exhaust sounds so this was a very nice upgrade!

 

Do you notice any interior drone that is aggravating to you

 

I'm not too sure what you mean when you say drone so I can't comment on that aspect of the system. Sorry.

 

Drone is like a boggy, deep bass tone that is common on aftermarket sets at around 1500 to 1800 rpm. I'd imagine yours would have a bit of that, most do.

 

I just don't want the kind of drone that makes you nauseous and both people look at each other like what the hell is that

 

Probably one of the best I had on my Coupe! Sound was the closest to that of a stock G35 coupe exhaust with a little bit of kick to it. Really liked it!

I've got a MAGNAFLOW full cat-back on my G. Love it
